Default Front Windshield Replacement (Shop Recommendations)

Sup fellow S2K enthusiasts, does anyone have any shop/company recommendations in the 562/626 area to replace front windshield (any fo them mobile)? I live in Whittier

Additionally, has anyone purchased the windshield? if so, from what company ($) or did you go OEM ($)?

Thanks S2Ki

your best bet would probably be to resort to YELP for this info.

I went with OEM, about 3 years ago. $$$ But, no problems. Installed by dealer. Looks completely original. Included the moldings.

It was $$$. Like $800 for all the parts. That included glass, seals, moldings, and dams. In this diagram.

I replaced mine last year with OEM glass, and my insurance paid for it... The company they use is Allstar Glass. They're mobile and they did a good job.

Gents, I've gone with Pete’s Automotive Glass Center, they've been in business for over 20 years, and they're in my city. They're coming to me next Friday, total price $180.46, price includes new moldings, and they claim life time warranty.

Perhaps I'll post the company/ventor they used for the windshield, I wont know who that is until next week.
