Default Front Windshield Replacement (Shop Recommendations)

Sup fellow S2K enthusiasts, does anyone have any shop/company recommendations in the 562/626 area to replace front windshield (any fo them mobile)? I live in Whittier

Additionally, has anyone purchased the windshield? if so, from what company ($) or did you go OEM ($)?

your best bet would probably be to resort to YELP for this info.

I went with OEM, about 3 years ago. $$$ But, no problems. Installed by dealer. Looks completely original. Included the moldings.

It was $$$. Like $800 for all the parts. That included glass, seals, moldings, and dams. In this diagram.

I replaced mine last year with OEM glass, and my insurance paid for it... The company they use is Allstar Glass. They're mobile and they did a good job.

wow allstar glass. that's a name i havent heard in a while. i used them YEARS ago on my civic for an insurance claim (someone was throwing rocks/bricks off a bridge up in nor cal, looong story). they did a superb job. they did it at my apt in costa mesa at the time. could not tell it was replaced, looked that good

Gents, I've gone with Pete’s Automotive Glass Center, they've been in business for over 20 years, and they're in my city. They're coming to me next Friday, total price $180.46, price includes new moldings, and they claim life time warranty.

Perhaps I'll post the company/ventor they used for the windshield, I wont know who that is until next week.
