Everytime i use the keyless entry to unlock the car the fuse blows out. anyone know what the cause is?

also.. if it keep blowing out.. it probably something w/ wiring.. maybe stereo or some sort of aftermarket electronic that's installed on ur car.

 

WHY DID OUR CARS NOT COME WITH FACTORY SECURITY?

my factory alarm never goes off.. don't matter how hard u hit it.. it won't go off.. it'll only go off when the door is opens...

 

My s does not go off even if I physically reach in the window and unlock it and open the door???? WTF is it supposed to?

Is an alarm an option or is it standard?

My guess, it is just key less entry....weight savings.

Sux though.... my 00 accord had the same remote and that had a pretty nice alarm from the factory.

 

I got talked into a Clifford alarm when I got my 06. If anything, the motion detector is a little too sensitive. Also it pages me when the alarm goes off. Right after I got it, the pager beeped when I was in a restaurant some miles away from both the office and my car. So what am I supposed to do? Just one more thing to worry about. One cool feature: When my top is down and the car is parked and locked with the alarm armed, if anyone reaches into my car, the alarm will go off.

 

But really though.... am I supposed to have an alarm standard?

 

No, only keyless entry. The factory alarm is an extra cost option..
