its time to change the tires again. originally was going to get stock RE050A's.. but then someone mentioned that nt01's (Z) are cheaper *they are? * but life of these tires, how long have they been lasting you? anyone tried the RE070A's

Sorry, Wendy, I do not know about the other ones......I just put RE050s back on, since I know them and their limits, and really like them.

Damn, new tires are sooo much quieter..

yea, i REALLY like the RE050s.; just the other half is saying how sweet the nt01's are and if they're cheaper... with more grip... BUT. if they'll last 10k then forget it

If you replace them twice as often, they are no longer cheaper...

Well the NT01 have 100 treadwear. Theyre R-compounds so I'd say 8000 miles if you're lucky.

I've gotten 10k miles + 2 track days on my RE070s. Here's the condition they're in now

Im gonna squeeze out one more track day off of the rears before I toss em for R888s

imo nt01s are overkill for the street. id suggest looking into re01r, from my experience they last a bit longer than re070 and are a little cheaper. in terms of overall grip id say the re070 are a little stickier at optimal temps but i feel that they tend to get greasier compared to the re01r throughout the day at a track.

+1 for the Dunlop Direzza Z1s.

Those and the Bridgestone RE-01Rs are better than the RE-070s and the POS RE-050s, but are cheaper! NT-01s for the street is a waste. You won't get more than 5000 on the rears.
