still not a fan. now you can't tell that its an 05 anymore.

 

no prob, some folks like bikes with graphics and some don't. as i said above, i prefer cleaner look and don't feel the need to state to the world that it's an 05. it's actually the same paint scheme for 05 r1 and 05 raven(somewhat). folks on r6 forum and bay area riders forum seem to prefer the new look too. oh well i still appreciate your opinion safe riding!

 

the red R1 looks nothing like that. the R1 is a maroon color not red. and it really doesn't look like the raven because thats what my R1 is and really its only the flate and glossy black. regardless of anything i can't fault you for the choice on bikes..... at least i know you got everything right in that area

 

yeah i really wanted the raven paint scheme but wasn't willing to pay extra for it and dealers here were marking it up $400 instead of stated $100. so i guess this is my way of somewhat assimilating the paint "scheme" but on a red bike . btw i love this bike!

Too bad you can't tell it's an '05 oh wait... a real rider would notice the upside down forks.

 

looks like a trend is starting cuz i've had several folks pm me already on other forums askin how to take the graphics off their 05 reds. thanks for the suggestion man. i'm in the same boat that "less is more".
