I am sorry that you havent hit VTECH yet. I think the VTECH company has been doing good lately, please don't ruin it for them.

VTEC, and minimum 600 miles. Read your manual.

I think the Mustang GT wins in the quarter.

shouldn't this be in street encounters?

Hate to burst your bubble but the 6spd manual lsd equipped cl/tl-s cars run about neck and neck with a stock S2000 in the 1/4 with maybe a tiny bit slower e.t. Generally 14.1 @ 99-100 mph is not out of the question and most people can't drive their stock S to 14 flat @ 99 to save their life.

With who behind the wheel? It's a 260hp car that weights almost 3500 lbs. Best times I have seen is 5.9 0-60, mid 14 1/4 mile for an 03 6MT.

unless you've seen it with your own eyes, it didn't happen.

most of the boastings on threads are lies. While I agree people can get better times than the mags, they are not THAT much better.

So, wanna compare said 14.1 best case time for the TL with a magazine time for a S2000? You should compare like to like. In this case, the best documented for a stock S2000 is 13.6.

Oh, and I could've sworn the TL/CL type S cars only put out 200 to the wheels, just like the S2000. Similar power, almost 600 pounds more weight....hmmm.

it will be a close race and a complete waste of time and gas, the honda is not any more a quarter mile purposely built drag racer than your friends mom's car. why not race a buick?

First off, there is no such thing as an 2003 6spd manual TL-S, only the CL-S came with that option in the last couple years of production. Second, the transmission in the TL and TL-S is CRAP! Drivetrain powerloss is HUGE!. I know this because I watched a couple TL-S dyno on Dynojet and they only put down 190-200whp! Assuming you know how to drive, the S2000 will easily run away from a regular 3.2 TL autotragic.
