Hate to burst your bubble but the 6spd manual lsd equipped cl/tl-s cars run about neck and neck with a stock S2000 in the 1/4 with maybe a tiny bit slower e.t. Generally 14.1 @ 99-100 mph is not out of the question and most people can't drive their stock S to 14 flat @ 99 to save their life.

most of the boastings on threads are lies. While I agree people can get better times than the mags, they are not THAT much better.
So, wanna compare said 14.1 best case time for the TL with a magazine time for a S2000? You should compare like to like. In this case, the best documented for a stock S2000 is 13.6.
Oh, and I could've sworn the TL/CL type S cars only put out 200 to the wheels, just like the S2000. Similar power, almost 600 pounds more weight....hmmm.

it will be a close race and a complete waste of time and gas, the honda is not any more a quarter mile purposely built drag racer than your friends mom's car. why not race a buick?
