SI is FWD and more prone to understeer; S2000 is RWD and more prone to oversteer. Besides the obvious sedan vs. roadster differences the driving experience is quite different.
That is why having both makes sense.

At first I did not like the looks of the coupe so I ordered the sedan but then a coupe came in and I was anxious to get started to I just bought it.
The coupe has really grown on me. I love the design now.
The sedan, I think, has always been a great design. I do not need 4 doors so the coupe stays but I think the sedan in white or black with a body package is going to be outstanding.
