no way! I though about it for awhile to see if this will grow into me like that suzuki 1000 did, but I just can't. That has got to be the ugliest 1000 ever imo.

One thing i'm not fond of is the cable clutch.
And what exactly is a problem with a cable clutch?

Ok I'm gonna have to disagree with everyone. I actually like it. I like the fact that it looks like it has gotten smaller. It was actually getting very big IMO. I like that they moved the exhaust away from under the seat. Tired of everyone trying to make their bikes like a ducati. I think the design follows honda's goal of mass centralization. As for the cable clutch I only rode 1 bike with it a 94 750GSXR and it didn't bother me at all.

Let the begin

It's just preference..I like the feel of a hydraulic clutch.
Cable feels flimsy and not direct for me.

Yea...currently not to fond of the front. I'll pass judgement when I see the bike

Nothing, but hydraulic clutches are smoother, no lubrication reqs., require less effort, and no worries about fraying or breakage.

I spent a couple of hundred bucks on each of my last two Jap. dirtbikes to upgrade to hydraulic clutches...now I've seen the light and buy KTM's than come w/ them!

So why does a GP full on race bike come with a cable clutch? All my TZ250's had a cable, so did my TZ125's. My KTM farmbike has a hydrolic. My other steet bikes had hydrolics as well, I dont recall any difference.

Cable clutch line is lighter, mechanically more simple, and easy to adjust. On a race bike, replacing parts is easy to a cable clutch makes more sense.
