I only managed to get half way through, it read more like a bad review of his lame-ass wife than about the car. I would have left the bitch on the side of the road and gone off for a drive.

Canadians.

It was indeed mostly about his bitchy non-enthusiast wife. The S2k was not remotely intended for people that just want a cruiser. That's what the Solstice/Sky is for.

If that's her in the picture I'd give her something to bitch about. I kid I kid...I just need a slump buster.

Turns out the writer knew we most of us already did, its never the most comfortable car on the road (unless you find yourself in the middle of a Lotus Rally) but if you like to drive you'll find yourself going places you have no interest in, except for the trip.

so what in the review isn't accurate?
The s2000 isn't a cruiser.
It's loud.
The interior is very bland.
It has pretty weak power below 6000 rpm's.
His wife didn't like it and she is in the majority as far as women are concerned.

I'm not sure why some of you are getting so butthurt? He said it was a nice driving car, but it's not something to cruise around in and he feels there are better alternatives as a daily driver. All of that sounds about right.

I think the problem is that he's taking the obvious downsides of any high revving sports car and pointing them out like they are problems that only the S2000 has.

Personally, I don't see it as a bad review.
