I had a chance to sample the new Fusion while on vaca in LA. I must say, they car was pretty nice. The chassis was solid and there was decent power out of the 4cyl. It's defi a good looking car as it turned many ppls heads (while driving down Rodeo no less). The only fault I could experience was a gear too short transmission (i think ours had the 4sp auto not 6sp found in the 6cyl) and a need for more NVH control.

Now the Edge is built off of the same platform. If they can improve on the points above, and keep the cost down like the Fusion, they'll have a winner on their hands.

Good luck Ford, I'm routing for you.

Looks great. I love the glass roof. Wish the interior was a little more imaginative, but otherwise it's a very nice truck.

nice looking SUV< clean simple lines and uses the new ford design language well, it is a little small for my liking tho, these mini SUV don't do it for me.
