Default 2007 TL Type- S

I've just noticed that the price of a new TL Types- S is over 38k.

Has anyone driven this car yet? Is it worth over 38k? I find it hard to believe.

38k is a bit much IMO. No more than 33-34 should be right.

No one is going to argue that it performs like a BMW 335i, but the base TL is already like $33-34k, so it is only fair that a sportier version costs a few thousand dollars more. If you really want a high performing Acura sedan and you can wait, why not wait for the redesigned TL anyway. It is rumored to have more power and some serious handling capabilities.

It'd have to have SH-AWD for me to consider it. Not a fan of torque-steer.

Yes it will most likely offer SH-AWD, atleast as an option. (New TL)

I really am pulling for Acura. Honda needs to not be so conservative.

You can buy one at invoice all day at your local dealer.

I drove it and it still suffers from severe torque steer. It's bad enough to make me walk away from it with 0 desire of purchase.

Yes, the new one will be AWD, Acura head has stated that in the future all of their lineup will be AWD. The new one will be at your dealership in less than 12 months.

You can always negotiate on that $38K. I'm guessing you can have one for about $34K. The regular version can be had for about $31-32K.

I'm really hoping the new TL will have SH-AWD and about 300hp.

The next TL will have SH-AWD, but that is only the automatic. MTs don't mix very well with SH-AWD apparently. So don't wait for the 6 spd to have SH-AWD; just get over your aversion to torque steer...lol
