I love it. I think the softened edges and upgraded nose/grill really suit the car. The interior is fabulous (based on pictures) compared to the old one.

The main thing I don't like (and this is universale on GM cars, I think) is the steering wheel. It's a 3-spoke (yes!) but it looks kind of cheap to me. I'll have to see it in person, I guess.

It'll make a great purchase (used) in two years.

Anyone catch the fact that there's a 40 GB harddrive with the nav system that allows storage of MP3s as well as pausing, rewinding, and resuming satellite or radio play? Awesome!

Great looks, 6sp, 300hp; it's a lot of car for less than $40K

The new CTS is gonna kick ass for GM. It should bring in a lot of import (Lexus, Infiniti, Acura) buyers into the Caddy showrooms to xshop. I'm thinking a CTS-V with an LS3 will be delish.

...and that's why we're excited about the NEW CTS. You did realize it's an all-new car with a completely different interior and an updated (and -graded) engine?

Is it really going to be that heavy? The current model is 3500 so it hard to understand how they could make it 500 pounds heavier.

All the competitors are about 3600 pounds.

That 500 CTS-V is going to be one fast tank. If the V6 is 4,000lb is it safe to say the CTS-V is going to be 4300??
