Kinda makes me proud my first car was a Veedub.

Barry, some day all will bow at the alter of Wolfsburg...looks good...you know 2009 is the time for me to replace my daily driver.
On a serious note, the interior is so much like the existing B6 Passat, I wonder if VW will be able to persuade buyers to reach for this model if it has a substantially higher price than the existing offerings. The rear roof line and the rear window look a touch heavy too. Like many German cars, the look of this car will be very dependent on the choice of wheels and the vehicle's ride height. Some of the entry level models may look a bit like they are on tippy toes if the wheels are too small and if the wheel wells have large gaps around the tires.
It does make the existing B6 sedan look a bit dated.

You need to get one of these. I could see you rocking one of these as DD. Just make sure you bring it to the car meets man. You know I bow only to Bayerische Motoren Werke. They've got my damn deposit. See the sig. I recently recieved the VIN for my 135i.

Still bugs me what VW turned the Passat into... My first car was a B3 Passat... Fun under powered small sedan. Now it comes with a big engine, what feels like 1000 lbs more weight, and can't handle for a damn. Does look good tho
