I could be wrong, but is it 35k or 40k?

365hp and awd sound pretty good

the SHO is just overpriced for a ford.
i cant seemyself spending more then 30k on a ford product.

my family bought a 2002 expedition when it first came out for 31k and i was shocked they went for it.

even though both GM and ford have cleaned up alot. i just cant seem to convince myself to like them. all i think of is rental cars.
and alot of cars they make look dated as soon as the come out. idk
Go ahead and name another 300+ hp AWD full sized sedan with power everything, heated and cooled memory seats, auto sensing wipers, adaptive cruise control, and Navi for 40k.

I've been very impressed with the refreshed Mustang and particularly the Fusion.

I was very close to buying a Fusion Sport AWD last month when they had some good rebates on it.

It was the first time I've really driven a Ford product extensively and each time I couldn't really find much that I would've changed about it. For what it is, it was super solid.

I'd imagine that the Taurus is all that and more so.

It's strange that on an S2000 forum people are saying they wouldn't buy it because it's made by Ford. One would think having bought a $33k Honda (under)powered by a 4cylinder (which still happens to be one of the most fun cars out there) would disprove the notion that brand-name proves all.

Why would people buy a STI or a EVO over a SHO? They are about the same price range and yet the SHO has more boost and hp.

Which would I want to drive in the twisties: Not the SHO

Which would I want to take on a long highway drive or use to pick up clients: SHO

The SHO seems to be positioning it's self as an entry level luxury sedan. It probably would fit but for the badge. Well that and how much extra does the Lincoln MKS cost?

Overall it looks like a nice car but I don't think the new SHO will get the blood flowing the way the old one did. The old car was a legitimate sports sedan. The new one seems to be a fast luxury cruiser. Nothing wrong with that but I'm still waiting for a good Contour SVT replacement. Something that's really fun to drive but isn't too boy racer or too cheap on the inside like the WRX and Evo (that isn't knocking either of those cars).

conservative oldies don't drive twisties. They drive American made muscle. I can see the SHO being perfect for that white collar guy, with a 40 hr job, that has two kids, no desire to go on twisties, but a desire to feel big in the pants at a stop light, on the way to pick up said kids and or business clients

My dad's a conservitive oldie. He drives a stick shift VW with the best of them. He set a few track records decades back in his SCCA days. I suspect when I'm an old fart I'll still want to hit the twisties from time to time.
