I actually just built one online and it looks great. But I went through the options, got a 3.73 rear end, some interior stuff, 18" wheels, and a few exterior styling products and topped out over $35,000. Sorry, there is a lot of other cars to be had for that kind of money. Especially considering when this thing rolls off the lot it depreciates $5000 easy, and in 3 years even with low mileage may be worht $18,000

the thing to remember is they're a heritage car, just like a camaro, any nissan z-car, corvettes, etc. people attach to them at a young age, and they're almost brainwashed by it (perhaps some of you know the feeling, but from a different car/manufacture).

my roommate is a big z-car freak, and I'm always amazed by the way the offical z-car club operates, and how it differs from the s2000 crowd.... the thing he always relates with me is that the s2000 doesn't really have that heritage.

I can't imagine things being too different for the american cars....

Ford is turning around and GM in a slower way but changes are coming.

I'm not a big fan of domestics but times change and most times things go up and down so keep watching the wave.
