Any thoughts on the upcoming 5 series? I'm not sold on the design and won't be until I see it in person, but I'm excited about the N55 powerplant in the 535.

why r u not sold? looks very similar to the 3 series but longer like the usual 5 series.. i hate the current 5 series.. i think it should look more like the 3 or 7 series.. i picked up the 3 series because i didnt like the 5 and didnt want to pay for the 7.. too much crap for me. the 3 is nimble and drives nice.. ilike the way it bounces around in turns. i prefer the feel over my z4 M coupe.

my 328i lease is up in 2011.. i might end up picking up the 5 series.. the newer body style is much more my style.

 

Seems like a natural progression from the previous 5 Series. With it being longer & wider.

 

Not sold on the design because I haven't seen it in person yet. It looks great in the pictures, though. I didn't mind the outgoing style too much, especially with the M aero kit, but I hope the new one will look much better. The 535 is on my short list for next vehicle!

^I hope they learn how to design a high pressure fuel pump. Failures still rampant in 2010 N54s.

You sure? I'm a mod on a bimmer site and I haven't seen any reports on the 2010's.
