This is what the 08 WRX should have looked like in the first place. The previous generation WRX had the same fender flares as the STI and I guess they stopped just to create more visual difference between the two.

Too bad they're keeping the same pos 5 speed transmission though. The super stout 6 speed alone is one of the biggest reasons to go for the STI.

True, I hope they make make some serious changes to the handling. Read the latest GTI vs Mazdaspeed vs WRX in Motortrend. This car is freakin quick but it continuously gets owned by the Mazdaspeed3.

Owned? Did you READ the test, or just look at the results?

Yes, they gave the Mazdaspeed 3 second place in their subjective ratings based on better chassis feel and a lower price, but I think the WRX was far from being "owned".

if they do introduce a new 4 door STi... i will be going to look at it, and subaru may possibly reclaim my business over lotus if the car is impressive enough.

I read the test! I didn't just read that one either. I went over to CarandD and they echoed similar sentiments. Coming in 3rd place isn't exactly shining, brother. I mean, Mother. I cant help but to think its a Japanese Mustang. Pre-2011 Mustang, of course. Hopefully I'm proven wrong this time.

Loose and Vague Steering
Sloppy Shifter
The FWD mazda feels way more dialed in

^^BIG NO NO's.
I'm not saying the MS3 isn't a great car. It def didn't "own" though, and even if it did, it's just not a car I would consider buying.
