Nice but did they use new 2010 Mazda 3 sedan/hatchback chasis? Dimensions look similar. I think Ford still has some share in Mazda. 2010 Ford Fiesta and Mazda 2 share same platform. Some parts on my Speed 3 have FMC stamped on them. These look better than Mazda versions though.

 

Yes, the Mazda3 has always used the C1 platform that the international Focus has been using since '04.

 

Not bad but Ford dumbed down the styling on the US Fiesta. The same might happen hear.

 

About damn time the Focus receives an actual full redesign. I am definitely excited about this one.


/Never understood why Ford couldn't update their Focus at the pace of the Mazda3.
