Too many cars, so little time. I enjoyed my S2K, but won't buy another. Too many choices out there.
For me, its about history. I waited 2 years for the S2000, bought one of the first 50 the very first day of release. I lived thought 6 months of people flipping out on the road when they saw it, spazzing out, hanging out windows screaming "S2000, S2000", I loved every second I drove mine and I am not in a situation where I can own one for a long time and enjoy it like before.

So I'm ready for my 3rd S2000 and I think I even have the blessing from my wife now that I'm finally car payment free. This S2000 would be a garage queen. I've seen this in other places for sale and it has like 30K miles at most. This is exactly what I want, a 2002 (glass window) blue S2000:

Ah ha! I wondered who actually bought the blue on blues in Oregon... now I know. People like you make finding a good looking black on black hard Stop ordering cars with weird color combos!

[QUOTE=2007 Zx-10,May 29 2009, 08:11 PM]AP2 burns alot less oil (i.e. none), that alone would convince me to go AP2, plus the traction control on the '06.

spice it up a bit, i would go with a ap2, and since your gunna make it a garage queen, you can find a ap2 with less miles and such that can be had for a good price. also the dynamics of the ap2, is different from the ap1s. it to you you though, congrats on looking for your 3rd S and i hope you find the one that is right for ya

Its' not 1000rpms, is more like 500rpms and the AP2 is just a more refined car.

My AP1's fuel cut-off was at 9400RPM, not 9000.
