Default 500 HP CTS-V?

i heard from a "car expert" that the Caddy CTS is getting a completely brand new interior, one that's supposed to be as nice or more richly appointed than Audi's..
and also a supercharged 6.3L pumping out 500HP?????!!!

can anyone verify this.. if this is true, I'm heading out to a Caddy dealer for a test drive b4 I buy a E39 M5.....

They are getting an updated interior for '06. It's not Audi quality but it is better. Perhaps after 2006. Seeing the efforts they have put into the new Saturns you might be right. A good interior is about the only thing that car is missing. Here's hoping!

I think they'll use the supercharged northstar before a supercharged 6.3L.

..it's going to be worth the wait guys. I have indirect connections into some information, but, yeah, the next CTS-V will be QUITE the car.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be supercharged, but it's been a while since I've talked with anyone about it.

I'm glad to see American companies finally addressing the luxury sport sedan market, and with full force!

Might be mistaken. Word is the 500 hp SC'ed V8 will be in the STS & XLR, not the CTS-V

They should do it. I love 400hp but this is no light weight car and 500hp would be just that much better. If they do it all the Vs will be great but the 7.0L will be the one to have.

I'm this '' close to looking at a V but would like to wait 12-18 months for any new car. This employee discount is tempting but like the sun will rise I know GM will have other incentives.

I was so so close to getting the V but the interior turned me away. IT is a awesome car already so I cant wait for the minor updates here and there. Should be worth the wait.
