Recently sold my 500whp LS powered FD. It's a world of difference from the S2000, I can tell you that. But one of the "cars to own" in your lifetime, definetely.

Looks like a baby Ferrari to me!
I mean that in a very positve way..plus over the years I've seen
mostly red ones.
I know you mean it in a positive way, but it just doesn't look like any Ferrari. It does look fantastic in its own right, but the nose isn't long enough to evoke any front-engine Ferrari and of course the proportions are a bit off to evoke any mid-engine Ferrari.
Also, the curvaceous nature of the FD lines doesn't evoke modern more angular Ferraris, but at the same time it's way too modern-looking to evoke older more curvy Ferraris.

Personally, I don't think Ferrari RED suits the FD at all (unlike, say the 240Z). I like the Montego Blue FDs best.

As for "baby" Ferrari, the shame is that all modern Ferraris are oversized and overweight They need to make a modern Dino
Don't see the Ferrari resemblance either. A new Dino is a great idea! Low-weight, high-power 4 or 6 cylinder, basic necessities (radio,a/c - if that), and sub-$200k price. A model like this would thrive now!

Agreed, though I will say it looks better than any Ferrari designs of late

I have owned three FD's and they are a true love/hate relationship. I sold my basically new S2000 for my last FD which was a mint condition touring with only 38k miles on the clock. I quickly remembered the hate part of owning FD’s and sold it in less than six months after burning a few grand on reliability modifications and maintenance. Simply put, FD’s are kind of like drugs… They cost a lot of money, ruin your life, and are highly addicting.

I didn't literally mean it resembles a Ferrari..
like an Enzo or other model but it does a little
bit look like a Scaglietta 612 but smaller and lighter!

All I meant..to me..when they first came out was that they
resembled an "exotic"..more so than a Mazda..Toyota..Honda
Yugo...etc. ever had!

Geez..are you a high-strung bunch or what??
