Default Adding to the garage.... again.

So for the past 2 years, I've been on the hunt. I was getting pretty frustrated because the costs of the gen2 Viper GTS are getting out of hand. Low milers are going for $65K-$70K. No way I'd ever pay that. Then the medium milers were $45k-$50k. Still too much.

I finally found that needle in the haystack. From a listing with no pictures and no price, I put a deposit down on a 1 owner clean carfax 96 in my dream colors. Little higher mileage, but less than $30K.

Take delivery next weekend and can't wait. Running out of garage space now.

Congrats man, B/W GTS is on my bucket list. Im always on the look out, just hard to justify with what you could buy for similar money. My heart says gen2 GTS, brain says C6 Z06(or 997 C2S)

Love the look of that gen (well, the outside, at least). A co-worker has a Paxton supercharged coupe - beast of a car!

The B/W Viper has been on my poster and in hotwheels in my room since before I could drive. So lucky I can fulfill this goal. If it's on your bucket list, better get to it, This one in the price range was crazy hard to find. When you think that only about 2000 Gen2 Blue/white Gts exist, it gets a little crazy. Only around 6800 Gen 2 GTS were even made.

Awesome man!
A few years back I saw that the prices of those hit a bottom and I was on the hunt for one. Pristine garage queens could be had for around 40, I've seen them in the high 20s as well. Problem was I was looking for a silver one, and the ones I came across were just outside my budget. I told my buddies to look for them and get them because they'll go up in value. Then I watched the prices skyrocket. My buddy still gives me crap for calling the bottom and not buying any.

hindsight bias mate,

the bottom back then could be a false bottom, you never known with cars, just buy em and drive em.
