Default Adjustable Suspensions...

A lot of new cars now have adjustable suspensions via a button somewhere on the dash. Now i think most of these only change the shock setting but there are some that also change the ride height of the car.
So if you can change the ride height of a car by just clicking a button isnt that a little unsafe since the alignment would be changing as well, im hoping some of you may enlighten me on this topic

that is a very general statement and would really depend on the type of suspension. also, the term alignment can mean a number of things in such general terms.

let's take an unequal length wishbone setup for example. through out the wheels normal travel there will be a range that is acceptable and some point beyond that which will result in too much camber be it positive if the car is raised too high or negative if it is lowered too far. if the manufacturer has designed the suspension to be raised an lowered I am sure that they can make sure that it does so within this range.

again, there are so many types of suspension and different variations on variations that it would be tricky to make a blanket statement.
