Default Alfa Romeo!

So a co-worker snapped these pics last night of a trailer full of Alfa Romeos. I didnt think they were coming to the US until 2012? Anyone have any idea? Im guessing they were headed to a FIAT dealership? We have one in columbus, its the only one I know of. There is a Maserati dealer in Ohio too. Maybe they are going to start selling them?

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Maybe they're going to some testing grounds? Maybe they will start selling them early, or these are early demo models?

I saw one coming out of the Chrysler proving grounds near me a few months back.

I'm quite pleased they're on the way back to the States.

God, I hope not. Who the f' wants a diesel? Ever been to Europe or North Africa? Soot from the state-subsidized diesel used for personal cars covers everything. And the air stinks. It's like early 80's LA. We left that behind for good reason. Gasoline just burns cleaner, I'd ban diesel if it wasn't ideally suited to certain usage, like train engines and tractors. For personal vehicles, it really is the suck.
