I've had 6 RX-7's.

I owned 2 '94 tourings, one '88 Turbo II, one '88 NA (GXL I think), and two '85 GS's.

Here in Florida, the first gens get more attention than you can believe. I couldn't go a week without one or two people asking me if the car was for sale.

Ive owned many Rx-7s, mostly FCs, and currently have a '94 FD. Im actually selling my S2000 and keeping the FD. Ill never sell it, they are well worth the occasional headaches they can give.

94 R2 - bought new

Still have it...but umm it is broken... ;o)

I agree the cars can be the biggest headaches but now I have more time and money to pour out to a car that really is TO ME one the sexist and better handling cars ever made.

LMAO. So true.

I was driving around an unfamiliar part of Tampa and saw 3 FDs together - I was like sweet - I'll bet they're Puerto Rican... then I notice its a Puerto Rican restauraunt.

They love old Zs and Celicas too. Fun guys with some crazy go fast ideas.

Looking back I should have left my rx7 100% stock. I modified it before I started racing. Which put me into a very difficult class to race in.

I had a '84 GSL-SE... it was pretty crap, but a ton of fun.
