Default any stunters out here?

Anyone on the forums stunt ride?

I'd like to find some guys in the southeast to ride with. We have plenty of good lots to ride in.

I'm finally recovering from some health related issues and am getting another stunt bike after a year of recovery

Don't worry stuntriding didn't cause my troubles. Just prevented me from riding.

i can do tiny wheelies and tiny stoppies (non-rolling)

stunting leads to dropping the bike, and my bike is not a stripped stunt-bike... so i don't push it

Good thinkin. It will eventually happen sadly. Even with the cage and such, stuff gets broken. If you gonna do it, make it a dedicated stunter and KNOW it's gonna get busted up

OUchhhhh I have been easing into it on mine, I'm getting my wheelies down pretty good.. taking it one step at a time, I'm almost at 12 o clock and riding for good distance but thats about it, and i can do pretty decenet stoppies but noooo endos. Skitching is easy for me so I can do that too but thats it for me for now!! Been riding only about 2 and a half months total on my 600rr or any bike for that matter with no sliders or anything, pushing my luck for sure but I think its what saves me half the time to be honest. Happy riding guys

Are the stunters the asswipes that block all the lanes on the freeway at 35 mph then go wheelying through traffic, lane splitting at 120 mph?

Depends on the group you're behind I guess some people do that, the guys I ride with don't. If its a big group the stunters stay in the far right slow lane and do their thing on the freeways... 35 mph though? Never seen that.. Freeway wheelies r usually rocked 60-80 mph... And lane splitting isn't stunting.

Something of a generalization, but one usually finds finds a history in the background of generalizations. I have no problem with guys going out on deserted country roads and doing what they do best whether its running the twisties or pulling wheelies till they run out of gas.

However I've seen on more than one occasion where a group of bikes, usually 10 or 12, blocks all the lanes on the freeway slows to 35 - 45 mph in order go give themselves a playground. Pulling junk like that FTL. One of the things that concerns me is the mental state of some of the drivers next time they encounter someone on a bike. They are bad enough when they aren't mad as hell. I'm not everywhere at once so I have to conclude that this isn't a rare occurance.

For Brendan, lane splitting isn't stunting unless the traffic is moving at 70 and the lane splitters are running 100+. Even then, maybe you are right, it's just stupid.

Haven't been on in a bit. But no, I always rode in a lot. I don't enjoy the road lol.

Something terrible WILL happen when you ride at some point. It's better to lose the bike and roll in an empty lot than lose it on the highway putting not only yourself in danger but someone else.

I couldn't live with myself looping a highway standup to have the bike roll up a hood through someone's windshield.

I used to run balls to the wall on the roads slowing traffic, lane splitting at wreckless speeds, etc. It's not cool and I am lucky to have got my mind right without a scratch or driving record. Always play it safe. It's hard enough to ride motorcycles as is. We don't need the average automobile driver raging and driving aggressively against us as a consequence of some squid doing a power wheelie in front of them the week before.
