The 1.9 second car is a Lingenfelter Corvette that was in last months issue of Motor Trend racing a F-18 Hornet. This car beat the record previously held by Hennessey's 850TT which I believe was 2.3 secs. Hennessey doesn't have a car in the 1's yet.

 

If you haven't heard about Hennessey's reputation lately check out the LS1.com forum. The news is a few months old now but still gets mentioned.

 

Maybe if the F16 had slicks...

 

The race was between a new stock viper and an F16.

he still goes to River City Raceway.. and showed up to a big supra meet in houston a month or so ago.. in the burnt orange looking viper w/ Defcon 1 on the plate

 

That shouldn't matter since it's jet powered.

 

I believe this guy stole from a lot of people, as in never shipped them stuff they ordered but took their money. I also heard he took $140,000 from someone but never worked on their Viper. Now his company has been dissolved and I think he faces charges for what he did.
