Audi: No RS badging on Utes

Audi will only badge, and one assumes, package its cars with RS and associated equipment, no trucks. This is different from MB and BMW that badge everything to the point that M and AMG are now just another option to tick off when ordering. I think its a good move to keep value in the RS name, vs overplaying it and making it meaningless like what GM did with the SS badge in the 90s.
Thoughts?

Don't care. The RS models aren't even as focused. I don't mind the SUVs having the AMG/M badge so long as they've been thoroughly massaged by the performance division. Bringing Porsche's Turbo badge in just doesn't make sense.

I appreciate it. The essence of ///M has become diluted over the years, especially now with the X5 & 6 M.
PS. There's really only one other, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, and how much more does that one cost?

Find an SUV that can perform like an X5M/X6M and I think you'll see why it doesn't dilute the brand.

Thank you Audi for not going the BMW route.

Maybe not up quite up to par with the X5M, but i'm sure a Cherokee SRT8 could hang..
