It isn't a sleeper ... It's one of the fastest, best handling wagons available on sale in the car market. I would love to get a drive in one of these ...

The RS4 is awesome but it's not all 'roses' when it comes to handling. It had two built-in 'features' which really kill it in terms of being a 'drivers car'. They are:

a) When you touch the brake the car pressumes that you want to stop and shuts-off all power from the engine. That means no trailbraking with this bady.

b) When you're on power then the rear-diff locks up and hence pushes the car into heavy, terminal underteer (check out the TopGear video on Tiff Needel's opinion). So as it as is, getting on the power will only get the car understeering intead of 'hooking up' around the corner.

Though, in the straighline this thing keeps un with the new M3s and 911s ... just incredible.

I do bow down to that car.
It puts the S4 wagon to shame!

I see those RS4s every day in london, and they sure look very nice. I've heard that the rims tend to break fairly easily, because of the very low profile of the tyres.

Yes, there was a big problem with the rims being too soft.

As for the rest of the car, I truly love it. RS4 is Audiness at its best.

I think they're getting the next one ready for quite soon : the RS6

BTW that pic doesn't do justice to the aggressiveness of that car - definitely not a sleeper...

If I had to buy a wagon, that would be on the top of my list.
