Default audi TT

I got to drive my dads GF's TT around today and i must say, its a blast to drive.

ITs a 2000 quattro..1.8T-measly 180HP...i mean its nothing compared to my S, but i really like the feeling of the AWD, makes me feel much safer
The handling is tight, the brakes WORK very well, the shifter could stand to be a little shorter, but the way that car shifts is kinda weird...
It makes you feel like you hit the gas when you put the clutch in to go to the next gear, it seems like it revs up on its own...any other TT owners here notice that?

interior is clean, the seats hold you in pretty well. overall the car is put together rather well, IMO...
I remember looking at one before i got my S2000, but thought it was too expensive...haha its funny too cuz i still paid 27k for my S in 2002...i overpaid...but well worth it i think..

But anyway, i just thought i would share my experience with the car
oh and one more thing, the S needs a stereo like the one in the TT, it has a very nice stereo...

Thanks for reading.

I testdrove a 225 roaster before getting the s. While I liked the torque, build quality, and every bit of the interior, I didn't like the part-time haldex and the way it kicked in at hard corners, and the understeer. And you would be surprised if you've tried one of the modded 1.8t beetle or golf how similar they feel except when the haldex kicks in. But if I'm looking for a cruiser it is an excellent car, and every girl loves it too. Oh and the baseball glove seats are real nice looking.

You have a misconception here, because you drove an essentially FWD car. The quattro system doesn't kick in unless it detects front-wheel slips. So most of the times, it drives with only the front wheels. But regardless, FWD cars do feel safer than RWD in normal driving. The tail doesn't wanna kick out like in RWD.
