here's the deal:
-You pay $550 flat fee to a bunch of dudes that used to work in the car industry & "know what cars really cost"
-These guys round up any and all cars you want to test drive at their place, you test drive them back to back, etc and decide what you want
-These guys use their industry contacts to get the car at a guaranteed minimum of $1,650 below whatever the sticker is (and they claim often below invoice). If they don't deliver, you get your money back and can still buy at the negotiated price
-Apparently you never set foot on a dealership floor
-They deal with financing too to make sure you aren't getting screwed
-etc
Sounds pretty cool if you're into back to back test driving and don't want to mess w/ the salesmen.

These guys are car brokers.
Lots of them exist.
When I was looking for my next Vette I went to a broker. All this vette broker did all day long was look for Vettes. Old, new whatever. He negotiated and all. In the end I went with the S2k but his prices were the best I ever saw. Note: I went with the S only because it was 12k cheaper and I wanted to save some money. It would've been my 2nd vette. Er...Z06. ;-)

A friend told me about a coworker who got a G35c on lease through a broker who got him some sort of insane deal. Apparently it had a lot to do with, a> being an excellent negotiator, and b> knowing exactly how to option the car so that it held the best residual value. Something like that... this story was told over several beers, so take that FWIW.
I can't vouch for this specific company, but car brokers are great if you don't want to get your hands dirty. Know some people who have used them. Never seen an "insane" deal, but lots of very good ones. Just remember many of us paid invoice for the S2000... I think this would be of much better use with cars that actually have strong markups.
