You think a CRV is over-priced but a Q5 is reasonable?

Personally I agree with you on the CRV, there are so many other, better options for the money.

I agree with our Spanish speaking folks above - if your Mom[my] is willing to *buy* you a nice new ride, how can you complain?

If you really want a Q5, you could always - *gasp* - buy it yourself.

Look at the VW Tiguan if you want some German engineering. I don't think no parent should buy their kid a $45k car.

mummy is buying me a $33k honda ...

but no, that's no good enough! i want a $45k audi instead and i need people' support to justify what i want

easy solution, select lower trim for the CRV and you will have a cheaper honda

OP, you're just asking to get flamed with that comment. TMI.
Well, personally, I think the CRV is a decent car with an okay price, however, I think the Q5 is overpriced.

You guys do realize he is in PANAMA, not here in the US of A, right? The most expensive "base" (its a certain model, but I don't remember which) CR-V is ~$27k here. The MSRP price for a base q5 is ~$38k in the US.
