Avoid this scooter
Got a small 50cc scooter to just ride back-and-forth to the grocery store, save some gas $$ for the S2000, etc. Thought I'd at least get a "good one" and scoot in style so I purchased a brand that I thought was reputable - Aprilia. WRONG! It's a piece if junk and slower than a glacier. I'm passed by people on bicycles! It is also the most unreliable POS I've ever seen. After only 100 miles the carburetor fails and because it's sealed it's virtually impossible to work on. After finally locating the only parts distributor in the USA I learned that it takes 5-7 weeks to get a new carburetor and the cost is $367! If the swap doesn't fix the problem I'm sending it where all Aprilias belong: the junk heap!
Scooters are a blast. How you an claim there not a bike is crazy. I collect bikes way to many. The Honda metropolitan quality reliable Honda! Chinese for a mechanic can be dealt with as long as you enjoy monkeying around.

I do have a Honda Elite I believe it is I think it's like a 250 single and it was in pieces I need to put it together it's one of them projects that's sits in the school bus other than that all I have is 50CC scooters to Honda and we have I think that's like five Chinese scooters all picked up on Craigslist for under $100 most just needed the carburetor cleaned and then I change the intake manifold I change the carburetor and I put a manual choke on them and it solves all the issues that you would have with the Chinese scooter
Well not all the issues but it seems like that's the major problem that you have with them the electric choke on them is Just Junk that's not a fruit joke where the carburetors I put on truly restrict the intake the reason for so many scooters is I spend time in different locations so I have one for me and one for the girlfriend in the different places we visit she's all over that Marketplace on Facebook I signed up for Facebook Marketplace or Facebook and it would not give me Marketplace so she scrounge is it for what she can find and we were headed down to Durango Colorado to pick up a car I needed a motor out of and she found a Honda Metropolitan in Farmington that was just listed we picked it up for five hundred bucks that has less than three thousand miles on it so that accounted for our second Honda Metropolitan you know Honda they're great
