Default Bang for the Buck

Post new and used bang for the buck.

$22k-$23k used S2000's are certainly high on the list.
$12-$15k GMC Typhoon's (if you get a warranty)
$10-$12k GMC Syclone's (if you get a warranty)
$10k Nissan 240SX with Sylvia swap.
$19k Used WRX's

New----
$20k NEON SRT-4 (whatever it is).
$30k Evo VIII (whenever it comes out....getting bored waiting)
$27k 350Z

I have never seen a S2000 for less than 27k. Even somewhat high mileage MY00's, are selling for that kind of money around here.

Anyway from that list I would go with a WRX, spend the extra money on mods. They can run low 13's with only a couple grand in mods.

http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=158703 <--- Things such as that. More interesting than anything though...

20-24k 2000 or so Camaro SS....320 hp and 6 speed? I say yes

DSMs have great bang for buck value, esp when it comes to mods.

A well done civic hatch? 9k or so you are getting Prolly a built GSR block, and comperable susp.

But it all really depends what your bang for buck value is concering, drag racing, handling, all-around? Fox Body mustang are great bang for buck drag cars, but suck at just about everything else.

Damn, that deal just doesn't exist here in FL. Trust me I looked. I guess up in NJ covertibles aren't as popular as they are here. I would not have bought my car if I could have found one in decent shape for $25k.

Lower end, the Tiburon GT V6 (going for under $17k these days )...

And way low-end, the Protege5 has plenty of style for the price and handles as fun as anything near it in price...
