Maybe you should get your alignement checked? Threshold braking from 120 mph down to around 40 at T1 on Summit is no problem and perfectly steady in my S2000.

You brother has good tastes (that's assuming the GPW I see in the second picture is his).

My '05 feels fairly glued to the ground, at least up to about 135mph or so. The fastest I've had her is 143mph before lifting and it was starting to feel a bit light.

My C5 was absolutely glued to the ground up to my personal top speed best of 174mph.

I wonder if the earlier S2000's feel more darty at higher speed? I can set the cruise on 100mph in my '05 and feel very comfortable.

130+ in a straight line felt fine to me. I wouldn't have wanted to make any sudden lane changes though.

The enormous wing on the STi is ludacris to look at but at speed inxs of 85 mph, it felt really planted to the ground. I took the car up to 120 mph and didn't even noticed it b/c it didn't shake or rattle as much as the s2000.

The steering radius of the s2000 is very impressive. The STi felt like a truck turning but it is very planted and felt more secure going into a turn than the s2000. Anyways, I felt like I've made the right decision but I will cetainly miss the boost of the STi. Oh yeh, that is my bro's MY02 GPW.
you think the S is shaky/rattly at 120mph? i thought it was smooth, thats why its so easy to go that fast in this car. also, i wonder why it feels less secure in a turn than your sti? S feels like its on rails, imo.

Good choice.

BTW, the s2000 will rape an STI in auto-x stock for stock. I love auto-x so that matters to me.

I've hit speeds of 130 in MY01 lap after lap at Pacific Raceways without feeling anything "darty and dangerous". What problems are you experiencing with your car?

Well, the reason I say the s2000 feels less secure compared to the STi in a turn is b/c the STi is AWD and i can really feel that it is "more" planted than the s. I didn't say the s2000 is not telepathic going into turns. I sure miss the boost of the STi though..... very addictive.
