Best supercar ever
Best Supercar? It has to be scary fast, good looking, successful racer, but most of all fun, affordable, and easily fixable. My vote is for the 1967-69 L88 Corvette, iron block with aluminum heads. The ZL-1 although faster and has slightly better weight distribution due to the aluminum block is too rare to consider.
But the truth is, those cars from the factory weren't NEARLY as fast as legend has it. ~110 in the 1/4 is fast, but it's not supercar fast. Totally blueprinted to the nth degree and taking advantage of every trick in the book while remaining "stock" according to FAST or Factory Stock rules, still in the 120mph range. Which is quite fast. But a bone stock C6 Z06 is faster in a straight line, and WAY the hell faster if you throw in some curves.
Although I appreciate the works of Ferrari and Porsche, You can't argue with argue with being able to put together a modern day version of this car for about $25K.
And for those of you that have 500HP cars without traction control, ABS, fancy paddleshift trannys or stability control,
you understand how much fun it can be scaring yourself shitless just by driving to winn dixie to get cornflakes.
It is nice to know that when something breaks on an old Chevy supercar that parts are cheap and usually available locally. Why dream about an Enzo or McLaren when you can actually own something as insane as one of these?

These guys say the R390 has 550bhp....who really knows when there are only 2 of them.

By those numbers...a s/c'd Atom would decimate it...
That said, depending on the length of the straights, it could go either way, but most tracks would favor the Radical.
