I'd try one of these and a one year old S2000 (plus another 5000 or so)

[B]I bough my s2k for $28,900 with 2 miles on it. So with the extra $21,100 in mods, i bet the s2000 could smoke anything on the street (that is legel of course).

Damn, hard to pass on the Z06, but I think I would buy an air-cooled turbo 911, and use the leftover cash for wheels, tires, exhaust, etc.
You would think, since Honda is using a technology that allows the engine to essentially have multiple cam profiles, that they would use one profile with low-end torque and one with high-end power, not the low-end economy and high-end power cams they currently use. I assume they did what they did for emissions and fuel economy, like always, but fuel economy should not be the defining characteristic of a sports car.

You need to understand that the only way to get that amount of power from a 2.0 I4, is to either charge it or lose the low end.
