I painted my Stock S2000 wheels with spray paint and clear coat... cost me less then $20. Still look great after almost 6 months.
I will post some pictures soon.

do a search as this topic comes up pretty often. I sanded and painted my Integra rims with 5-7 light coats of paint plus 3-4 coats of clear. They looked great for about a mt or two. I literally had to touch up every so often and repaint every 6mts to a year. They also faded
With the s2k, I pc'ed them. The going rate is about 50bucks a wheel so 200 total. Yes, you can buy a lot of paint with that money, but I have now past 30mts and they look just as perfect as the day they were done. If you find a good pc'er they also have metallic colors. Price may be a little higher, but I haven't looked into doing it myself as I just stuck to doing my wheels.
Your choice, you can buy paint and keep changing colors or refinish the paint every so often and save the money or just pc and forget about it

There are plenty of metallic powders out there now. There are literally hundreds of combinations. They can even candy coat wheels using a silver base coat. If you find a place that knows what they're doing, it'll come out good. The only part I'd worry about is baking the wheels at 400+ degrees F, but enough people have done it without problems.
