Works fine. Only negative you look like a dork if you aren't on a track.
Hmm, this is true. I left mine on after an event for like a week. Also my vinyl numbers. Got a ton of stares. Of course I was _also_ wearing my helmet.

And no pants. Though I still attribute the stares to the blue tape.

I can see how it might protect the finish from the real small stuff, which is better than nothing I suppose.

Recently, I helped a friend do this to his new car so he could drive it home (600 mile trip) and get the clearbra done once he got back.

Besides many pieces coming off at speed and pulling over a few times to pull off other stringer pieces, it seemed to do its job.

I won't have time to clearbra before I pick it up and drive it 400 miles, but will eventually. What kind of car I bought will come up when I take delivery. Car us coming in closed shipper truck to me. It starts it's journey Monday.

Raj, another tip that I got autocrossing is low tack, clear Contact Paper. As long as you stay away from really hot parts where melting is an issue, it removes without significant residue.

It's a little thicker than painter's tape and cushions sharp road debris significantly better than thin blue tape.

"I'll try to avoid a small mark that someone closely examining my car MIGHT notice and think the car is ugly by putting blue tape all over the front of the car and ensure EVERYONE that sees it, from no matter how far away, KNOWS it's ugly."

Seems like the cure is worse than the disease.

First trip to Dragon = having to get front bumper resprayed from bug and rock collection off 81.

First trip to Dragon with 2 week old Porsche =

Took the tape off when I got there, and had one perfectly pristine front end
