anybody drive this car? how does it feel compared to regular 330 and also compared to M3?? used 03 ZHP prices are pretty darn cheap, as are all used bimmers...

 

330 ZHP's are very nice cars. after driving a ZHP, a regular 330i with sports package just doesn't do it. the best improvement of the ZHP over a regular 330i is the quicker steering ratio. other than that, the ZHP has a sportier suspension setup, 10 more horses with higher redline, 18" wheels with wider 255 tires in the back, shorter 6-speed shifter, mtech2 body kit, thicker alcantara steering wheel, and a few other interior/exterior costmetic goodies. although a regular 330 can be modded with similar or better aftermarket goodies, it is the quicker steering itself that would make me want to spend more for the ZHP. overall, the ZHP feels sportier behind the wheels compared with a 330i with sports package. the ride is not as harsh as an m3, which, imo, makes it a better daily driver. of course the ZHP cannot even compare with the m3 in regards to power and performance, but as a daily driver, it is peppy, fun, and easy to toss around.

 

The M3 is a great daily as well but definitely has a harsher ride but I completely forget about that when I mash the gas. The M3 is fast enough to never get embarrassed when racing non-modified 'normal' sports cars but more comfortable than at least most of them and it has a usable back seat. The 330 ZHP is a great car but M3 can be had for a little more and that little more translates into ALOT more car.

 

Buddy of mine has one, and autox's it all the time. He's very pleased with it.
