Nobody is more aggressive than Infinity.
My lease payment on my 335 is about $70 a month less than my GF's leased G37 and my car cost almost $8K more. Our qualifications and credit rating are pretty much identical so for a car that cost almost $8K more to lease for $70 a month less I'd say they're not so aggressive after all. We looked at the IS350, MB E-class and a few others when we bought her car and BMW had by far the best lease she just didn't want another BMW in the driveway. On leasing vs. buying you will find alot of self-employed people that lease at least one of their vehicles for the tax benefits.

I own a small business that is a Sub-chapter S corporation.I leased my 335i coupe for 2 years 20k miles for 633 per month. It is registered under my business which required a commercial insurance policy that cost about 1/3 more mostly because you need very high coverage.I deduct 75% business use and 25% personal for the lease payments. My yearly payments are 7596 and I deduct 5,697 dollars off the top of my total companies gross profits which translates to a 1595.16 tax savings to me.I also am able to deduct the full insurance amount (1350) which saves me another 378 and 75% of the gas useage which is another 375 .My total personal tax savings for the leased vehicle this year was about 3000 (I bought tires). You can look at the lease as being an out of pocket expense for me as 4596 this year or 383 a month. Not bad for a 46k car with nothing down.I'll be turning the car in in Dec. and plan on selling my 05' Odyssey to my Company at fair market value (excellent condition of course) and making payments to myself for a 4 year loan with the going interest rate .My account feels we can right off 100% of that vehicle since a van is looked at by the IRS as a more use-full work vehicle.I can then use the payments to buy or lease another personal vehicle or just bank it.I'll only pay tax on the interest I charge myself and it will be less since it will be a capitol gains tax.Every little bit helps.
