Makes use of 2 electric motors (one in front and one in back) and a 3 cylinder diesel engine (effectively half of the I6 from the 335d) for 356hp and 590 ft-lb of torque. All while weighing 3000 lbs. 0-62 in 4.8 seconds and it still gets 62.6 mpg.

Edit: It's also got a drag coefficient of .22. All those radical styling cues aren't just for show.

Love it. But in addition to a complex and expensive diesel/electric awd hybrid, there should be a simpler/cheaper/lighterweight rwd turbo gasoline version as well!

 

I think part of the point of this concept car is the drivetrain. This is a concept that is both fast and fuel-efficient. Taking the N54, tuning it to 400hp, and placing it in the car would probably be better performance wise, but this is a concept car for a reason: showing off new concepts.
