Ok... so of the 6 cars you've mentioned, only three have had to stand the test of time.

Fiero - 1984-1988 - I have a soft spot for this car, but its hardly aged well, particularly the interior - this comes from owning two.

Firebird - 1982-1992 - Not terrible and argueably one of their better designs so this one I agree with.

That is a personal favorite of mine. I hope whoever designed that (and OKed that design) was heavily drugged.

GM made the most cars - there will be more good and bad examples from GM just because of that.

Anything Pontiac made looked like crap the day it was new. Aztec, Firechicken, Bonneville, Grand Am, Grand Prix.... all of them save for 68/69 FIrebird and vintage GTOs.

That was my GM experience. Got really bad with age.

1996: Grand Prix - evidently you and I disagree on what "well aged" means.
Oops, I meant the '97 Grand Prix that replaced the model you pictured. A friend of mind got one in '96 so I assumed it was a '96.

However, I never said they all were good. You said save for a few you listed they were all bad. I was simply making the point that they weren't all bad.

GM cars in my experiences wear badly on the inside.

My Dad picked up a brand new 2007 Escalade. The chrome/plastic on the both frnt door handles are coming off. I mean completely. The Black leather seats in that car just wears so fast. He's the only person in there 80% of the time. I was pretty shocked.

Ironically, this was what stopped him from buying a decked out Tahoe 8years ago. All the trucks he test drove had leather that looked old.

Take a look at any Corvette seats on the showroom floor. I dont know why they wrinkle so quickly. It needs to be more firm or something.

My buddy bought a 2008 Malibu. Its a nice car with the grey interior. Once again, it is wearing very fast. IMHO, Mercedes and BMW interiors wear the slowest. I can go take a picture of the drivers seat in my mother's 07 E class benz. It looks BRAND NEW. Even an 04 E46 BMW with beige leather's front seats looked fantastic.

I think Porsche cars will always look good.

And old Honda cars still look good today. The NSX, S2000, Prelude, Integra, RSX, 04-05 TSX, etc...

Audi without a doubt. To pay so much for those, and to have them be worthless after 2 years is a joke. A6 from just a few years ago are around 10k now!

GM and such will age quickly because they're cheap - you get what you pay for in that case.

I agree and I do think Mercedes' leather wears nicely but BMW DOES NOT.

I have seen countless BMWs (particularly M cars with big bolstered seats) that wear HORRIBLY. I mean creases, shine, pulling/stretching/cracking... my friend's 02' M3 convertible and his dad's 04' coupes looked shitty after 20K miles (both bought new). The leather in my S2000 is the only thing that compares... LOL.

You kidding me? 150,300 miles on my car, and the seats look practically new. They're exceptionally firm.

Are you talking about your S2K or your Bimmer? I took the seats out of a 150k E36 M3 about 10k miles ago, and besides a few creases on the driver's seat, they're in beautiful condition.
