Good man

When I got my R1, I ran it in (first 600 miles) in 3 days (evenings) I had a trip to go on the following weekend and wanted the first service out of the way before I went

Get some pics up when you get a chance

after how many iles more or less on any bike is it proper to open it up... in other words, how many miles does it usually take to brake in a bike the correct way?

Iwas told 500 miles at 5000 revs then a first service
then another 500 at 6000 revs thats surpost to be the proper way
then you can do as you like

my new R6...per manual...is 600 miles for under 8Krpm's then up to 1500 miles not above 12Krpm's then sky's the limit....with oil changes at both of those marks.

that's just what the manual says...

I changed the oil at 100, 300, 600, and 1500...and kept the revs away from the limiter but didn't exactly follow those directions!

this is yet another topic that everyone has a different opinion on! what's new!?!
