I like, and think added with the Velite, should inject some enthusiasm in the Buick line. It's about time. Lutz may be on his way to making Buick GM's Lexus.

If it's produced the way they showed it, it would do very well. I don't see them having all those interior details though, but it would be nice for $35k.

Not bad.
Maybe just a little bit over-styled. Too many ripples and and "accents" for my tastes.

what a stupid name

Can't the revive a cool name like "Roadmaster" or something?

However names like Integra, Supra, Celica, Lgend etc.. must have sounded lame at first.

But I have to think this name is right up there with Aztek for example

Hey!

I kinda like it.

It was the only nice car GM showed.

Maybe I'll buy it to replace my FX45......

You know, in F**KING 2009-2010 when they have all the bugs worked out of it.

C'mon GM, you need some hits and you need them SOON.

For Dee-troit, It sucks A LOT LESS. Definite good step in the right direction. . . just bag the oversized rear emblem thing.

I like this one better though. Kind of looks like a RR Sport.

They should kill Buick off altogether and sell that as a Pontiac.

I think that without the orange, that thing looks like a bit of a shoebox on wheels. To whit, checkout the Lincoln version in black: http://www.autoweek.com/files/specials/200...kx/pages/01.htm. I think the Buick is much more interesting to look at.

As an aside, what the hell was Ford thinking making both that AND the Freestyle??? Both crossovers priced about the same. And, what the hell was Ford thinking making both the Fusion AND the 500? I know the 500 is bigger, but the market seems much too similar if they are both FWD. If Ford is gonna make a car that big, it should be RWD, and they should FINALLY put the Panther out to pasture. I could see having both the Fusion and a RWD 500 in the lineup. That makes sense. How much cash did Ford burn making these parallel vehicles??? Small wonder the domestics are in trouble. There are models for success throughout the industry (think Toyota). Why can't Ford follow their lead and make some reasonably bright product decisions??? I'm no genius, and it seems pretty clear to me that building both the Freestyle and that thing above (I dunno what it's called, but it probably starts with an "F") and both the Fusion and the 500 is a total waste... Oh, and don't me started on bringing the Freestyle and 500 out with just the mid-90's Duratec wheezer...sheesh. How obviously dumb was that too??? End rant.

Freestyle is going to be discontinued after this year. Fusion and 500 are two totally different size classes. Kind of like Toyota having the Camry and Avalon. Ford is supposedly going to put the 3.5l 250hp v6 in the 500 next year.
