C5 >>> C6 Interior....
Well, last night I stopped off at the local "Mega"-Chevy dealer on the way home, and checked out the C6. The car is completely beautiful!!! I walked up, opened the door, and sat down. WOW, the inside is HUGE!!! Its like they designed it around fat/tall people, I couldn't believe it....
So, I adjusted the seat, steering wheel and anything else I could find, and it still seemed way more roomier than what a sports car should be. I don't know if it was the bulbous composite top, or the fact that there seemed to be more room in the trunk area, but I just didn't like it as much as the C5's interior.
There was one great thing about the new Vette, I loved the shifter, Chevy finally has gotten it right after 50 years!
So, does anyone else who has sat it one agree with me? Is it because I'm to use to my S? Does anyone own a coupe yet, and is it better with the targa top off?
I want to love the C6, but so far....

So, you're saying that you don't like the C6 because there's TOO MUCH interior room?
I understand that the coziness aspect of a small sports car's interior can have some appeal, but I'll take room any day of the week, especially when it's wrapped around a pretty tight exterior body.

I think that driving an S2000 might have warped your perceptions of how roomy the interior of a typical car is. My last car was a 2000 Honda Prelude, which had a pretty cramped interior in its own right. But getting into my S2000 for the first time, I felt downright claustrophobic! Almost any car interior feels huge coming from an S2000!

My subaru feels like a TRUCK when I get out of my S.
I LOVE the small cramped space, I'm a small guy so I like it tight
Seriously I didn't find the Miata small enough on the inside, I don't know the specs but it didn't seem as cockpit like , like the S.
I LOVE the C6, but if it's big inside.... I maybe
too.

Dude, Honda did an awesome job if hinding space in a Prelude. More specifically the 94 Prelude years... I mean, how can such a HUGE car (cause it kinda is) have so little room?!
my dad has a Dodge 1500 Ram ( big white commercial van ) for his business
whenever i get in that car i dont wanna look back cuz i might get heart attack how much room there is compare to what i would see when i turn back in my S
