At that price Chevy will cannibalize Z28 sales.
Lol... still amazing anyone would even consider a Z28 at this point. You'd have to be mentally insane (or the world's biggest Camaro fan) to buy a Z28 over this new Z06 at roughly the same price.

650hp 3524 lb. Z06 will more than cut it vs. 707hp 4300ish lb. Challenger Hellcat...

Not to mention that Corvettes have always been better at putting their power down than most "muscle cars". That hellcat barely gets traction through third gear. It's a clown car.

Of course, the Z06 will smoke the Hellcat in a straight-line race (or another other race for that matter), but the Hellcat still has SEVEN HUNDRED AND SEVEN HORSEPOWER. That will sell cars and it will encourage GM (and Ford for that matter) to one-up Chrysler. And the battle continues.

The Hellcat isn't a direct competitor at all to the Vettes, especially the higher-trim ones. It's a big boat with a bada** engine. But, 650hp just flat isn't going to be the top rung of the C7. Not a chance. It's only 12 more than the C6 ZR1.

If GM comes out with a 750+hp twin turbo Zora L88 ZR1, whatever it's called, I'll want one and many other Vettes guys will too. There is a market for it and the incremental cost increase for GM to produce it (especially if they are already developing a twin turbo V8 for their halo Caddy cars) makes it a no brainer.

Haha the Challenger is a clown car??? Those clowns are having a blast getting down the quarter mile in 11seconds, 10's on drag tires.

And again, you don't have to be insane to want the z28. It's just different strokes. What if you don't want a small sports car to track? I see no reason to knock someone for choosing a z28. It's a very capable car with a lot of history to it.

Yeah, the Camaro is one high class vehicle. I mean, how could you not want to be associated with people like this?

Haha. That's funny, but I see blkwidow's point.

Whatever dude, who cares that that guy modified his car not to YOUR liking... If he is a good guy and enjoying his car in good faith then hats off to him. We can be friends.

People have been modifying cars no matter what the manufactured had originally intended. If you let what other people do with their cars ruin your car decisions and opinions then I feel sorry for you.

You took my post too seriously. Point was that a Z06 is a different league of car from a Camaro and that priced similarly, the choice is really a no-brainer.

If the dude with the 30" rims on his purple Camaro likes his ride, then more power to him.

Sorry no back-tracking allowed. Plus it seems your opinion is still the same.
