It may fare well on the straights, but just like the Challenger it's HUGE. It's a full size sedan with a pony car body stretched to fit.

Turning a corner will not be it's forte.
The challenger was based on a car that didn't handle exceptionally well, the camaro is based on a car that was hailed even by the Top Gear and Fifth Gear folk.
It won't handle like an elise, but it won't handle like a Ford F350.

i dont see how this car "kills" the 370 in the quarter when its only 2 or 3 tenths faster....sure its more powerful....but its comparing a muscle car to a sports car. The 370 can almost keep up in the straights with a lot less power and I would love to see what happens in the corners

Wait...huh? I thought the Camaro can only go fast in a straight line? I thought the Camaro can't handle? I thought the Camaro is an overweight pig? How can it be faster around the 'Ring than the E46 M3, Exige S, Cayman S, and S5? That doesn't make sense. Those are fancy furrin cars with fabled pedigrees. It doesn't make sense either that the overweight pig of a Camaro weighs about the same as an M3 or G37. It also doesn't make sense that the 6.2L V8 Camaro gets better gas mileage than the 4.0L V8 M3, about the same as the 3.7L V6 G37. Facts suck.

But, at least we know from sitting in the car that the interior sucks too...

nice step up from the hideous, current Mustang, but still a big heavy boat....would be fun to play around in if it had a big block....ahh, the good ol days of 454s
Name a stock 454 car that put out better numbers than the 2010 378 Camaro (I doubt even the much lighter 454 Corvette could match the 2010 Camaro SS in a drag race).
