You'd mount them with the shorter sidewalls facing OUT, such that you get the same amount of tire camber at the road with less (or zero) camber at the wheel. Going straight ahead, you're rolling more on the inside of the tread, just like with a normal tire with negative camber at the wheel. During cornering the outside tires load the contact patch more evenly across the tread width, just like a normal tire with negative camber at the wheel.
