That just shows people are following styles that others perceive as being the thing to do. In other words following trends. If you had $100k+ to spend to buy a car in a completely depressed country, would you really care what others think? I wouldn't put flashing LED's on my car. But I did put an expensive sound system, 2 8" subs, in my 993 and put custom Japanese wheels on it too. Not something you do in the States on a German car. But who cares, it's what you want to do.
